Hopes for June

15:02

So, it's June. How on earth have we already gone through half of June? It feels like it was Christmas the other day, yet here we are.

Something I like to do is set goals for myself. I find it gives me motivation to succeed and exceed my own expectations, and it gives me that little push I need in order to get things done. So I thought I'd start a new thing where I outline all of my hopes and goals and dreams for each month, keeping in line with my resolutions that I posted at the beginning of the year.

1. Push myself to study & learn as much as I can

This month all of my focus is on my exams. I had my first one yesterday (June 1st), and my last exam is the 19th. Something I talked about recently is how I feel so lucky to have the opportunity and the means to go to university, and since it's exam season I really want to just push myself that little bit harder to achieve great results for my second semester exams.

2. Kick it up a notch

A little while ago I spoke about my fitness, and me trying to be more healthy. Unfortunately my exercising regime has fallen by the wayside for the last little while as I've been revising, so once exams are over I'd like to get back on the fitness horse and carry on with my yoga & strength workouts, and I'd also like to incorporate some cardio into my day too, either by going for a run, bike ride or by going swimming.

3. Just let things happen

I'm a worrier. I plan everything, so that there isn't anything that'll come as a surprise to me when I get there. I'm scared of the unknown, and I always jump to the worst conclusions. My goal for this month is to work on that, and to try and just let things happen spontaneously and organically, and to let go of control a bit more.

4. Take some time off

I've been working about a month now, and when I'm not revising or working I'm sleeping, so this month I definitely need to take a bit of a break and have a bit of a rest. I go back home near the end of June, so after exams I'm able to take some time off at home to get my sleeping pattern back to normal (I've seen the sun rise before I even go to sleep a few too many times!)

5. Save up a bit

It's hard to save money when you're a student, but this month I'm determined to start saving a bit, especially as I'm not going to be working while I'm at home over the summer.

So those are my goals for this month! Do you like to set goals? If so, what're your goals for June?
Hope you guys enjoyed my little random post, I just had a bit of time and a burst of creativity today so thought I'd make the most of it.

Love,
