Song Of The Week: Seasons by Olly Murs

This week's song of the week is Seasons by Olly Murs. I've listened to it a lot over the last few weeks, and thought it finally deserved a mention.

Olly is a really down to earth, lovely guy from Essex, England, who was a finalist in the 6th season of the X Factor. His songs are really catchy and fun to sing along to, and this one is no exception.

Song of the week: Air Guitar

My song of the week this week is Air Guitar by McBusted. I've loved the Mcfly and Busted boys for years (I remember being very upset when Busted split up).

This song is great, puts a huge smile on my face whenever I listen to it. I loved the Mcfly boys and Busted when they were together, so having the two bands in one is a dream come true. I wish I could go and see them!

Song of the week: Hold my Hand

This week my song of the week is Hold My Hand by Jess Glynne. I like other songs she's done (Real Love, Right Here etc), and this one is really fun to sing along to when it comes on the radio. I've been a bit bored of the music in the charts recently, so this song has given me something new to enjoy!

Song of the Week: King by Years and Years

This weeks song of the week is King by Years and Years. It's such a fun song to listen to and sing along to, I love their sound. I did some research and they're a British trio which is always nice, I like to see British talent getting recognised.

I've not heard any of their other songs, but I am definitely going to. Do you have any recommendations of songs by them?

Song of the Week: Heartbeat Song

This week's song of the week is Heartbeat song by Kelly Clarkson. It's such a catchy song that I'm always listening to! I love how upbeat it is.

I've loved Kelly Clarkson since I was really young, I remember having a photo of her back when I was in primary school!

Song of the week: Hold Back the River

This week's song of the week is Hold Back the River by James Bay.
I hadn't heard of him until I saw him at the Brits, and then I looked him up and discovered this song. I really love his vibe and his sound, his music is really chilled and it's so so good. I also love his song Scars.

Song of the week: I Bet My Life

This weeks SOTW is I Bet My Life by Imagine Dragons. I've liked this song for quite a while now, and this week I've been listening to it especially much. To be honest, I've not really listened to much new music recently; I'm finding that not many songs are inspiring me, and I'm bored of a lot of the music in the charts. I can't wait for all the summer songs to come out!

Song of the Week: Only Love Can Hurt Like This

This week I've been loving Only Love Can Hurt Like This by Paloma Faith. I saw her perform it at the Brits on TV and I've not been able to stop listening to it since. Her performance was incredible, and the only thing I was thinking throughout was 'oh gosh I bet that water is cold!'

Song of the Week: Ain't it Fun

My song of the week this week is Ain't it Fun by Paramore. It's so good, so catchy, and I love the video, where they try to break as many world records as possible. It's very Paramore, and I love Hayley's hair, and her style.

Song of the Week: Fourth of July

I have been LOVING Fall Out Boy recently, and this song has been constantly in my head. It's so much fun to sing along to!

It's from their most latest album, American Beauty/American Psycho, and I'm loving their new sound, though I know not everyone is. Also, I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea *exemplified by my boyfriend & best friend both rolling their eyes every time I play it!*

Song of the week: Earned It

This song has been on repeat for the last few weeks. I wasn't so sure about it the first time I heard it, but it is so so good. I hate the video to this and it's not very family friendly so I won't link it, and instead will link this lyric video. It's part of the 50 Shades of Grey soundtrack, so you can imagine what the video is like..

Apart from the strange video I really like the song, it's always stuck in my head, and The Weeknd have really nailed it with this song. It's just fantastic.

Song of the week: Girls Chase Boys

This week I'm loving Girls Chase Boys by Ingrid Michaelson. Her voice is so gorgeous, and I've totally fallen in love with her sound. She just has great vibes, and she's definitely someone I'm going to be listening to a lot more.

The song sends a pretty strong message, but it does so in an upbeat and catchy way. It's great to sing and dance along to as well!

I also love Afterlife by her, which I believe I listed in my first SOTW post.
