Lets talk about bath time

17:00

Having a nice bath at the end of a long day is one of my favourite ways to unwind and relax. I didn't have a bath at my uni house last year, so it was always something I'd do whenever I'd go home for a visit.

Today I thought I'd show you all of the products that I use whenever I want to have a nice pamper evening, so make yourself a nice cup of tea, sit back, relax and have a little read.

When I'm having a pamper evening I'll go the whole hog and really take the time. I haven't included a face mask in here as I would usually do, but I haven't bought a new one since I finished my last one off, so I didn't have one!!

I forgot to include this in the first pictures, but the bubble bath I used is the Sea of Tranquility scent from Imperial Leather, which created lots of bubbles and smelled really nice and relaxing. While in the bath, I read Life With a Sprinkle of Glitter (review coming soon!) and I listened to music.

When I was in the bath I used the Herbal Essences Bee Strong shampoo & conditioner, which left my hair feeling really soft and shiny and strong. I then exfoliated my body with the AMAZING Smoothie Star Breakfast Scrub from Soap & Glory, which smells like maple syrup. So good and leaves my skin as soft as a baby! I used the Nivea Happy Time Shower Cream, which was super moisturising and nourishing on my skin, and then the St Ives Blemish Fighting Scrub to exfoliate my face.

After getting out of the bath, I dry off and then wrap myself in my really snuggly and soft bath robe, and the pampering continues. I begin by washing my face with the Nivea Gel Scrub for Oily/Combo skin, following up with a Simple toner and nighttime moisturiser (I use the Simple day moisturiser in the morning!)

Then I brush my hair and use my VO5 Mega Hold Styling Mousse, which for the price is very good! It doesn't make my hair crunchy, and makes it really nice and curly, and cuts down on the flyaway frizzy bits I always get! After putting mousse through I tie it up in plaits or a bun to keep frizz down for the next day, and then get on with moisturising.

I then used the Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter which has been featured in several recent posts. I won't rave about it anymore because you'll probably have seen me rave in my July favourites and haul.

After that if I'm going out somewhere or am feeling extra pale I'll put on the Rimmel Instant Tan, which is really nice if you want a bit of colour but don't want/have time for it to develop. I'm a bit scared of developing tans because I'm worried I'll go super orange, but this is great because you can just wash it off in the shower.

Next I like to put on some heel genius foot cream, which helps keep my feet really soft and lovely, and then I'll wash my hands and put on the Along Came Betty hand cream, which smells like peaches *word of warning it does smell pretty intense!* and it's a bit greasy at first but it does sink in quite quickly and leaves my skin and nails feeling soft.

Then I'll use my Nivea Milk & Honey lip balm which I've repurchased a couple of times because I love it so much, and then finish off my pamper evening by painting my nails! The nail polish shown is Barry M Gelly Shine in Lychee, which is a really pretty nude colour.

And that's it! I hope you enjoyed my post! What products do you like to use in a pamper night? Let me know in the comments!
