On Monday I went to the national trust Sissinghurst Castle Gardens, and I had a lovely time wandering around getting lost in all the different zones of the gardens. I particularly loved the sweet peas and roses that were rambling all over the walls of the 'castle'; aka Vita and Harold's house. There were many little touches around the gardens that made me think "this is so blog post/Instagram worthy", so I knew I had to collect together my favourite photos from the day into a blog post for you all. What I would mention is that although they advertise a 'disabled route' on the map it's not actually accessible, there's lots of steps and bumpy pavements and grass which unfortunately made it quite inaccessible for my grandmother. I've been loving my Nikon again, I'm slowly learning how to get the best out of it and how to take (in my opinion) pretty great photos! It's a very photo heavy post today so I'll let them do all the talking, hope you enjoy!

I have quite a lot of family who are from Liverpool, I'm half Scouse myself, and yesterday I came back from a week away to Liverpool to visit family. I love the city, I love the people, I love seeing family and seeing the sights.
We did not stop once this week (my mum has a step tracker and she was constantly hitting 12-15k steps a day which means I was too!).
Here are some of the things I got up to!
- I met Jordan Henderson
- I went to the Albert Docks
- I spent time with my northern family
- I went to the place that LFC train & play (Melwood & Anfield)
- I saw beautiful cathedrals
- I ate delicious food
- I saw some jellyfish in the Mersey river
- I went to the Cavern and watched a live singer sing old Beatles & The Who songs
- I went to St George's Hall which is the old law courts and jail cells
How has your week been? Have you ever been to Liverpool?
And just like that it's June, I'm thrust into exam season, my social life gets pushed to the back of the queue while I get my exams done. I did manage to fit in some fun things around the revising, so I'll now talk you through this month, and everything I've done! Thankfully I've now finished exams, so I'm currently back home for the summer!
My first exam was on June 4th, and it actually went rather well. What was better though was the fact that I had a fairly long break between my first and second exams, which meant I could go home for the weekend to attend a Christening I had been invited to, which was absolutely lovely!

Then it was back up to uni to prep for my next two exams! During that week I attended the opening night of a play that one of my close friends starred in, which was very funny, and I was extremely proud of him.

Another break from exam revision was a day spent at BirdWorld in Farnham, which was so fun! I posted a couple of Instagrams about my day so I won't bore you too much with various pictures of birds, but I will say that my highlight was stroking and playing with that little penguin, he was so cute!

Finally my last exam had been written, and it was time to celebrate. I was treated to an amazingly yummy dinner at Prezzo (if you haven't been there try the banoffee tiramisu, which is one of my favourite things on the menu), and then me and the boy went for a couple of cocktails at a place called Turtle Bay (Caribbean pimms and the frozen strawberry daiquiri are my faves!)
Then I attended a birthday party for one of my friends, which is always good fun. I loved my outfit, loved my makeup, and it was a nice way to say bye to everyone before the summer.
And then my second year at uni had come to an end. It was time to go home for the summer. It's been so nice to be home as I was starting to get really homesick. I've not had the best living arrangements at university this year and I was quite unhappy in my house, so being home to reset and recharge my batteries has been just what I've needed. Missed my family and my dog so much (and plus it's nice to always have food in the fridge!)
And so with that my 3 part series has come to an end! If you want to go back and read part 1 and 2, then please do! What has been your favourite thing you've done this month? Join me back here on Saturday for a HUGE beauty haul!

Love,
So, with busy April over and done with, it was time for even-busier May! May is when my university year starts to ramp up and hurtle towards exam period, so May was full of revising, and even more full of procrastinating... My town is absolutely beautiful at this point in the school year, so I spent a few lovely afternoons sat by the lake enjoying a cup of tea and a catch up with my mum on the phone basking in the sun, and wandering around town. The warm weather and sunshine that we had fleetingly in May really helped to get me out of my slump after the last few cold months we'd had.
One of my favourite places this time of year is Guildford Castle, because all the tulips are in full bloom, and tulips are some of my favourite flowers. I love how vibrant and beautiful they are!
Midway through May was one of the most hectic weekends of my life! On Friday one of my old friends from Canada came over to stay a night, on Saturday I had a ball celebrating the end of the year with my biology course, Sunday was my boyfriend's football final that I went to watch with his family, and Monday was his birthday! It was one of my favourite weekends in my whole life, I had so much fun.

Then my boyfriend took me to one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. It's called Newlands Corner in Surrey, and if you're ever in the Surrey area then you definitely need to go visit, because the views of the surrounding countryside are absolutely breathtaking, the photos do not do it justice at all! I had an amazing day, aside from falling down a rabbit hole a-la Alice in Wonderland!! Not my most graceful of moments!
Then at the end of May me and the boyf went to the Surrey County Show. It was one of the most overwhelmingly farm-y things I've ever experienced, and being a country girl from Kent I absolutely loved it. There were so many cute animals that I was like a giddy little child!

Aaaand that was May! If you're enjoying this three part series so far, then please let me know! Also, comment down below what your favourite thing was that you did in May! If you didn't see part 1 where I talk about April, then click here, and come back tomorrow at 12 for a recap on June so far!

Lots of love,
I've been feeling the itch in my fingers to blog again for a while now, but in between university stress, working part time and sleeping it's been impossible to find time to blog. However, I'm pleased to report that I'm finished with my second year at university, and so now will have loads more time to write!! Wooo!
I spent lots of quality time with my dog over the holiday, I miss him terribly when I'm not at home, as it's quite lonely at my uni house without having a little dog trotting around! I've always had pets at home so it's been a tough adjustment at university.
I also went on several biology field trips this month, including several graveyards to study lichens (yeah, riveting I know), and also the zoo!

I also got treated to an amazing day out at Wisley gardens. I'd never been before, and I'd seriously recommend it if you are looking for a nice day out and some lovely scenery! I'm going to go back soon and take my mum as she's very into gardening and flowers and would absolutely love it!

Today I thought I'd start to update you on all the fun and crazy things I've been up to in the last few months, in case you aren't following me on Twitter or Instagram and haven't been keeping updated!! Since it's been so long since I've last blogged I'm going to do a three-part series, starting with the end of March through to the end of April!
So what's new in my life? Well, I've been getting vastly improved results at university, I've got myself a lovely new boyfriend, and I've been spending some much needed time building my relationships with my friends and family, and saying yes to more things. I've lived an amazing, happy, love-filled life the last few months, and it's been lovely.
I went home at the end of March for the Easter holidays, and I got to meet a new little baby who has completely stolen my heart, along with her brother. She is absolutely adorable, definitely improved my opinion on babies and children!

I also finally upgraded my tired iPhone 4s to an iPhone 5s (yes it's not an iPhone 6s+ but it's all I could afford!!), and I absolutely love it. It's so handy, it's fast, it's got enough space for all my apps and photos, and the picture quality is sooooo much better!
Then I went back up to uni mid-April for the beginning of summer term at uni. This involved lots of revising, procrastinating with snapchat and having picnics!

Then one of my best friends came down to stay for a couple of days. I've known her since we were both about 3, she's the longest friend I've ever had! I don't see her very often unfortunately, but that makes the time we do spend together even more special.
And that was April! Stay tuned tomorrow for what I got up to in May, and I'll also be posting on Thursday and Saturday this week, so keep an eye out for those! Can't wait to get back into blogging really often again!
Love,
