My Christmas Rules (Blogmas 2015)

16:00

(4 days till Christmas)

Christmas is a time to be with friends and family, eating lots and enjoying yourself. Here are some of my rules to having a fun and family filled Christmas:

1. Wear your Christmas cracker hat all throughout dinner (and dessert, even if you don't have dessert straight after your Christmas dinner)
Or at least you can't be the first to take theirs off. Me, I like to keep mine on for as long as possible!

2. Always say thank you for your gifts, no matter how small (or how rubbish you think they are).
Someone has spent their time and money picking something they think you'll either like or find useful, the least you could do was be appreciative!

3. Take as many photos/videos as possible
You'll appreciate it when you have loads of amazing photos to look back on in years to come. We've got loads of old photos and videos from when we were younger that are so fun to see now I'm older.

4. Take time out of your day to spend time with family, Skype far-away relatives etc.
It's always complicated, and may seem boring depending on how well you get on with your grandparents/far off aunts and uncles, but spending a little time on the phone or skyping your family is one of the special things about Christmas, it's an excuse to catch up and compare presents!

5. Listen to Christmas songs all day
It's the last chance you'll get until next Christmas (unless you listen to Christmas songs as early as possible like me!)

And those are my 5 top Christmas rules! What are yours?

Love,
